Yea thats why this is not good news. I felt like Marshall was just beginning to come around. We needed him to polish his passing skills this week.

I don't think having your knee drained is that big of a deal. He could play the next day really.
But, I guess now you have a chance to err on the side of caution.

I agree that Marshall can use W Carolina as a tune up game and really work on his passing. Also, if he has to have his knee drained, how long will that sideline him till he's at 100%?
If his injury is more severe, then I say unleash JJ. Having him come in against a cupcake will be beneficial. Sure, his second game will be on the road against an SEC team, but this might be the worst SEC defense we play all season. Besides, we'll be a dog in the game anyway and a lot of people have already conceded that we lose. Then he comes home for another cupcake, before taking on Ark and TN. He'll have 3 games including an SEC road game to get ready before we finish out our SEC schedule.

If this knee rumor is true, we should let NM just pass against WCU and bring in wallas/KF to run the readoption. It keeps JJs redshirt in tact and allows NM to work on his passing game for A&M.
