We felt like UTk and UGA likely were the destination until about July/August when all the sudden "We are confident/lead"

Going to be said when we thought we would bring in Eli Stove, NCM and Kyle Davis

then end up with just Stove or perhaps none

And I pretty much covered all of that. I may give you hell from time to time, but the only people I would steer the wrong way are uga fans. But come on, they're uga fans.

If I post something that turns out to be BS, I will take my licks. That's how it works. At least wait and see if it's 100.

I am interpreting that as "DC has given us a chance" not "DC screwed das pooch"

I mean, having top flight WRs interested in our run 90% offense is impressive to me

I'm not calling anyone out. Truthfully I haven't read into any of the Lashlee rumors including the ones literally just posted in this thread

I just agree on the propensity for folks to start explaining why things are going wrong. It's when people talk the most and when rumors swirl out of control. It doesn't mean that people are making shite up - just means that when everyone is talking the quality of the rumor is incredibly diluted. Most of the rumors posted here and elsewhere are also things nobody can substantiate.

I hope that clarifies my comments. I've posted negatively toward rumors for a while now and especially this season. I'm probably going to keep doing that too. It makes me happy on the inside while I'm crying on the outside

That is what I mean. I didn't think we even had a prayer back when he was hanging out with Eason in Athens.

I'm not sure on him at all. I don't blame anyone for going to that game.

BTW: Landon Rice will be there as well!

I think the coaching staff relayed that to him. I don't know. I've never met Rhett Lashlee. I just know that Lance Thompson comes by the school all the time, and they mainly interact with Rhett Lashlee at camps in Auburn when the high school players go.

Met Scott Fountain outside the Auburn Arena after last year's game against Georgia, though. He was really nice and down to Earth.

ETA: I like Rhett Lashlee as Auburn's offensive coordinator because if there's anyone in the world that knows it as good as Gus Malzahn, it's him.

I can't really blame a wide receiver prospect not choosing Auburn after the product that has been displayed on the field. The staff convinced Duke Williams to come back and be paired with Jeremy Johnson, and also Ricardo Louis and Melvin Ray, and the offense hasn't produced. Jeremy Johnson was benched and now we are trying to rely on Sean White to turn it all around.

Things just haven't gone as planned.

And to make matters worse, I drafted Jeremy Johnson pretty high on my fantasy draft and now a bunch of Bammers are beating my team.

All of this shite would never have been mentioned if we didn't shite the bed with JJ at the helm. I guarantee you that they will turn this ship around with White taking over and all of this talk will disappear by November.

ETA: I'm not referring to anyone, specifically. Just throwing this out there.

How did you draft a college QB on your fantasy draft?

If this is of any consolation, my team name is teamJeremyJohnson. I'm not sure if I can change it, but I'm not because I deserve the egg on my face for getting sucked in.

I drafted Jeremy Johnson #1 overall in one of my leagues. I think I took Duke in the 2nd round. I also grabbed Roc and Jovon. Don't tell me about pain.

I did a CFB Fantasy Draft with a league (some posters from this site). And yeah, it's weird, but my team name is "Jeremy's Johnson"

BowlJackson, I also drafted Duke Williams, but instead of Roc Thomas and Jovon Robinson I got Peyton Barber

As mentioned above Landon Rice is going to UGA / Bama this weekend. No need to worry IMO.

If I were rice I'd beat the door down to go to UGA. they actually use a TE.

Rice's older brother is a walk-on WR for us, I'm pretty sure they grew up Auburn fans, and he's planning on enrolling next semester. Bama and UGA have been recruiting him hard for nearly as long as we have but the last visit he took anywhere besides Auburn was before the 2013 season to UGA, so I think these are just courtesy visits for their staffs. I think we're safe with Rice.

And btw, the last time we had a prototypical TE worth a shite was Lutz. Uzomah was really just a heavy WR, Fulse sucked, Parks was a thug that never played. We'll see how Gus handles having what should be two good ones with Rice and Harris and a QB that can throw.
