If we lose to FAMU in the rock ala the Toledo game I will burn the whole program to the ground myself.
I don't think Bert walks out as the head football coach if that happens.
Which would be a quandary. Do we go with our DC who has head coaching experience or our OC who has head coaching experience after that?

They were quite mad about that that drubbing we gave them.
I'm hoping TCU does not come in here as pissed. They probably are though. We will have to put them in their place.
Let's just hope Bert didn't talk more shite to Texas high school coaches about not having a fullback.

I watched scrimmage. Dude is extremely slippery and his vision is amazing.

Offensive line and defense are still shaky I see.

— Will Gragg with a touchdown catch from Lindsey. Second-team OL mixed with some scout team guys just drove it downfield on the starting defense, again minus Greenlaw and Harris. Linebacker depth definitively an issue.
Yikes. I know it's just a scripted scrimmage but yikes nonetheless.

So is Hedlund finally getting his stuff together?

If true this is bad.

He's still not elevating the ball as he should. His accuracy seems better, but he's being pushed by the walk on.

The biggest play that I remember on that drive was a crossing route to Jackson that Coley took a bad angle on and it got them inside the 10. Koilan didn't look that fast but he seems to have good hands and is physical. ETA: I guess the article mentioned that play before the one you quoted.
Saw where Bielema said Cole Kelley punted a few times during the week and had one that went 50 yards...I guess if worse comes to worse...

Ty Storey is literally the reason i stopped following recruiting rankings. dude couldn't throw up lol let alone a football
i don't understand how someone can be this bad at something and get a full ride to a good university to do it

Are we going to have pretty serious DL/Linebacker issues again? Not trying to flame, serious question. I know Dre and Scoota are good but they're only two players.

Yes

Does he also kick barefoot? The last QB/kicker we had kicked barefoot.

I think the starting group is pretty talented. There's just no depth.

The short answer is yes. There's some talent but absolutely no depth, and it doesn't help when both both Bell and Harris go down with foot injuries.
I think our fan base is being dishonest with itself when it comes to the switch to the 3-4. It's not a quick fix or something that can be implemented and turned around in one year, especially when you have the linebacker depth issues we have. We could be pretty bad on defense this season as we enduring growing pains that come with the transition.

If Dre can't kick the injury bug, then yes.

There is no way we are as bad as last season. Huge spike in scores allowed and yards per play.
We have talent along the front and I like the rotation of Greenlaw, Scoota, Ramsey, Rosler, Richardson...Eugene and Morgan...Yes Morgan...look to be able to provide those guys a breather.
Secondary will have added depth...looks like Calloway and Curl our the real deal

Because when you get thoroughly beaten by the same thing over and over that just flat out means your staff was too incompetent to come up with a solution with the players they had and the players just flat out got beat. Tech that year and Auburn last year are not a good look.
honestly the Tech loss pissed me off more than Toledo
