A little off topic, but look who's standing out at Patriots camp.

Saw where Kenny Hamlin was at practice this week. Didn't expect to see him around.

Guys I'm telling you. If AA can get protection he is an elite QB. You could see flashes of it last year.
He was literally running for his life and that's what caused some bad throws. If he is given time he WILL find the open man.

The offense seems to be in form, defense looked a bit shaky. Granted its the highlights so we didn't get to see a lot.

Its probably going to be a question of how soon the defense can adjust to the change to the 3-4 and how effective we will be in it for the early part of the season.

This team is 2015 all over again. We will probably pass block better than we run block at the beginning. Then we will get to where we do both really well. The defense will be no hum for the most part but will play better against some.

Let's hope they're the mid-season version of the 2015 team.

I'd forgotten until recently just how pivotal that Tennessee game was in order to salvage the season. We were 1-3 coming off of embarrassing losses to Toledo and Texas Tech and yet another heartbreaker to A&M. If we lose that game and then lose to Bama the next week, chances are we don't go bowling that year.

After losing to Toledo and Tech we won 5 SEC games that year. WTF

To be fair, while we had no business losing to Toledo they were a solid team that year.

Yeah and their coach that year seems to have already improved ISU (even given their record last year) so at least we lost to a good coach.

As much as that loss hurt, in my mind he made up for some of it by beating Kingsbury by 56 lol

Well that was the year before, we got embarrassed by Kingsbury right after the Toledo game.... at home.

Right. I wasn't saying he beat them with Toledo that same year.

They were quite mad about that that drubbing we gave them.

I'm hoping TCU does not come in here as pissed. They probably are though. We will have to put them in their place.
