It’s a paid forum on On3 called The Fort. Remind me after the game, if we’re victorious, and I’ll post the comments.

While that is true he has a freaking cannon. I’d bet he can throw it 80-90 yards maybe even the entire field.

Thats a complete homer take.

Admittedly I have done that too. One of the best was reading the Michigan ST. boards before the 2015-16 Cotton Bowl (which some were cautious because the 2010 Capital One Bowl) and of course the ND board before the 2012 championship. Needless the say the Domers were much more quiet before the 2020 Cotton Bowl.

Same. And I've loved reading Oklahoma, tOSU and Clemson's boards in the past. Just to get a feel for what they are thinking.

Keep your friends close, your enemies closer.

The only time this alerted me was the 2014 season, capped with the Jan 1st 2015 Sugar bowl. Cardale Jones looked READLY good leading up to that game. You'll recall, tOSU had lost their first and second string QB's that season [much like FSU recently did]. But tOSU kept rolling. I expected better from Bama but between Jones and Ezekiel Elliot, Bama didn't get the job done. There was little moral victory in knowing that Bama fought them harder than Oregon in that championship days later.

Yet OSU and other fans will act like Bama lost by the same amount of points

Unless it’s in OT or final second, every time Bama loses a game (like the UT game this year) people will act like Bama lost by 3-4x as many points as they actually did

When Alabama beats Michigan by double digits I'm absolutely going to get banned from the college football reddit. Already have my new back up account prepared.

The takes on that site have been nauseating.

I was at the game, and it was a very strange day. If I recall, there were several SEC-BIG bowl games that played on the same day. And the BIG won every one.

When we went up 21-6, Ohio st fans cheered even louder, and maybe it’s because they cheered so loud that Kiffin forgot to keep running Henry in the 2nd half.

Buckeye WRs made every single circus catch. One-handed, leaping catches. And then the Ezekiel Elliot run. Just a weird day.

Yup, I only get on there for a couple sports related subs and movie news. That's why I'm going all out after the win.

I was there as well. This is why we lost. He was absolutely blistering them, screens, runs it didn’t matter.

Milroe has plenty of flaws, but this definitely isn't one of them.

Between the OSU game and the Oklahoma game the season before, Henry had 24 touches for 310 yards 3 TDs

If we give him even 5 more touches in both of those games we likely win both.

Just for shits and giggles, these are Henry's bowl game stats while at Bama: 81 touches for 537 yards 8 TDs

Quite a 4 bowl game stretch.

This is the dumbest shite I've read on here in a long time. And that's saying something.

Easy to win championships when you can buy talent. Don’t get me wrong Saban can coach but his life was made a hella lot easier by having better talent than the other teams he faced.

Wonder if he thought this when Saban was beating Mich while at MichSt.

I did some research on Michigan and their 2023 opposition. Only two teams that they played this year have a winning record. Ohio State and Penn State. Maryland and Rutgers finished 6-6. The rest of their B1G opponents all had losing records. Their out of conference opponents had losing records, too. Outside of OSU and PSU, they played East Carolina, Bowling Green, UNLV, Rutgers, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Indiana, Purdue and Iowa. Iowa has a strong record but they have the worst offense in the FBS.

I've long contended that Michigan took FSU's playoff spot, not BAMA or tejas. Michigan should be prepping for UGA. Easiest money in the last 5 years+ is that Mich (-1.5) in the Rose Bowl.

Less than a week out so I added some more posts that I’ve found to the 1st post of the thread.

quote:
I think we run it down their throats against their soft Lbs and win by 2tds

quote:
I’d take our LB crew over theirs all day

quote:
You win in the trenches and I would take both our lines over there’s. And that kid QB is going to be exposed big time.

quote:
GA really played like dog **** against Bama...

quote:
Saban and smart are better than Day. Not as good as Jim, but don’t need to when the talent is so much better.

quote:
i'm counting on those fat bama linemen to run out of gas....we have the deepest rotation at that position in the country.

quote:
In reality, Alabama's schedule was only slightly more difficult than Michigan's was.

quote:
If we get blown out 41-17 it's because we **** the bed and not because Bama is that much better than us

quote:
They are delusional. The've played a bunch of SEC nobodies other than Texas or Georgia

quote:
we scored 30 on that ohio defense, we will top 30 on anyone we play. jmo.

quote:
Which matchups favor the Crimson Tide? QB? No. RB's? No. TE's, No. DL? No. LB's, equal. Maybe their OL, but what else?

quote:
Their WRs are not an edge vs our secondary.

quote:
Alabama doesn’t have any elite wide receivers, running backs, or tight ends. Milroe is a decent not great passer. Keep him from running crazy and I don’t see how they outscore us

quote:
They don't have a TE on the level of Loveland and he should be able to do work vs their LBers who are pretty avg in coverage. Plus, I trust JJ's ability to get our guys the ball more than Milroe. I think Milroe is gonna struggle against Minter's D.

quote:
Bama D isn’t in the top 20 of any statistical category and the played some really bad teams!! Think about that. UM is in top 6 in all, offense stats, UM is in top 25 in two category, Bana in none! Not sure what everyone sees here….

quote:
JJ is the most talented QB they’ve faced

quote:
OSU’s wr/TE group is significantly better than Bama.
