So I did what you said and I now have two wires on the rv side that I don’t know where they go. I’ve tried connecting both wires to the truck brake pin but the truck still wouldn’t recognize that the rv was connected. I have continuity through both of the wires ...

I did somewhat that to identify which wires were to what lights. Jumped a wire from a 12v battery to each wire and then see what operated. None of the white wires or blue wires operated anything lights wise. That’s where I assumed the white wires were ground/neg...
Make a jumper to jump whatever pin to ground in the plug and check for continuity on the other end to see what pin the wires go to in the plug.
Explain this a little more please. You’re saying make a jumper and attach one end to a pin of the rv’s 7 pin hook up and attach the other ...

Yes, it's just your typical metal junction box where the wiring harness from the camper connects to all the wires within the camper.
Is there a way to test the brakes with a multimeter? I know you can have someone push the brakes and listen for the magnets to activate but I'll be solo on most of ...
y initial thought is your junction box is damaged from the harness getting yanked.
I'm not being condescending cause I really don't know, but how would a damaged box cause problems with the brakes? Doesn't it just house the wires?...

The incoming 12v- wire is white which I have connected to the wire going to negative connection to the battery. There are 3 or 4 more white wires on the trailer side of the junction box. I currently have these hooked up to the 12v-. With all the lights working I’m left with the two wires from the br...

None of the white wires are feeding power. Only the blue wire from the wiring harness and the wire coming from the battery are left feeding power after the lights are hooked up.

Pulled the wiring harness from my fifth wheel

Was parking it after the weekend getaway and it got caught on the tailgate. Pulled it completely out of the junction box. Got the lights all working but the trailer brakes still aren’t functioning. I’ve searched the web and can’t find solutions so alas I’ve come here. I have the 12v+ from the truck ...

Wife Wants Chickens
Posted by GAFF on 3/21/24 at 4:46 pm
What this really means is that she likes the idea of having chickens and not actually investing the time it would take to raise chickens. So I’d be the one doing all the work. If I do this I’d like to do a combination of free range and a run. I leave for work early some days, before sun up. My quest...

How is it a myth?
Someone sells the call or put. Someone buys it. It may be sold many more times until expiration but when it expires someone is holding it. Either it expires worthless and the holder is out of money or it is assigned and the seller takes a loss (from its current stock value). Unl...

Best Wireless Fence For Large Dog

A stray showed up to my property a few months back. Wife and kids fell in love and has been feeding it ever since. Good dog, barks when cars come down the drive. Some type of Husky/German Sheppard mix. Large dog. Neighbor showed up today informing me that he’s been killing his chickens (he’s right, ...
