I have been there twice. Way better than the Pacific section in NOLA. It takes you from Pearl Harbor to Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and all the Naval battles and Island fighting in between. They also have an outdoor arena where they have volunteers who simulate a Marine amphibious landing, with the taking of a Jap pillbox. Complete with automatic weapons and a flame thrower. After the pillbox capture, they raise the American flag and play the National Anthem. Not a dry eye in the place. Well worth spending a day at.
His name was Cleatus Lebow. I met Mr. Lebow last year at the National Museum of the Pacific War. It was truly an honor to shake that man's hand. He was a true American hero. God bless him and his family. :usa:

I just heard on the radio that the Japanese have bombed Pearl Harbor.
Well crap. Didn't know about that.
They have been open for a while. Bought some sausage a few weeks ago.

re: Greatest cast ever

I do agree this movie has the greatest cast of comedians of all time and that there is no argument. However for overall actors, I would probably have The Longest Day. But the list you have here is bogus.
The following comedians are not in IAMMMMW:
Bud Abbott, Gracie Allen, Lauren Bacall, Lucille Ball, Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, George Burns, Red Buttons, Carol Channing, Imogene Coca, Tim Conway, Lou Costello, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Jackie Gleason, Oliver Hardy, Judy Holliday, Bob Hope, Ernie Kovacs, Stan Laurel, Jack Lemmon, Harold Lloyd, Dean Martin, Walter Mathau, Groucho Marks, Zero Mostel, Donald O'Conner, Jack Paar, Martha Raye, Debbie Reynolds, Don Rickles, Peter Sellers and Red Skelton.

Left out of this list are Spencer Tracy, Buster Keaton and many more.

I have seen this movie 20+ times, it is one of my favorites. So I am very familiar with who is in it. You might consult IMDB before making a post like this.
"Watermelon in Easter Hay" by Frank Zappa. For those that haven't heard it, check it out. Especially the 9 min. version. It's pretty damn good. It's always been one of my favs.
Steve Miller Band who opened up for Leon Russell. Memphis 1972. Drank heavily before the show and snuck in a pint of tequila. But the second concert has a little interesting note. I was in the USMC at the time stationed in Ca. 1973. A buddy asked me if I wanted to go to a concert in Malibu. Sure I said, who is playing? Doobie Brothers (wasn't to thrilled) Savoy Brown (who was excellent), then he said there is group from Texas called ZZ Top. Never heard of them I said. He assured me that they were good. They opened up and came out wearing cowboy hats, boots no long beards. I was prepared for some country music. Man was I wrong. They absolutely blew everyone else out of the water. Been a huge fan since. Man I sure do miss the 70's.

You are 100% correct.
I gave it a shot. I know this is probably wrong but Eric Burdon?
John Kay of Steppenwolf?

First time I ever saw or heard of him must of been around 1970 or 71. He was on the Johnny Cash Show and sang Paradise. I was blown away. Been a huge fan ever since. The man was a true songwriting genius. The way he could spin just a few words and create a visual picture in your head was unmatched. Willie and Kris might come close, but they didn't inject the humor like Prine did. A little part of America just died also.

Bec mon chu...couillon.

And since you are so fluent in French, I'm sure you won't have to look up this terminology.
