South Carolina head coach Lamont Paris is expected to return with the Gamecocks next season, according to South Carolina reporter David Cloninger.

Paris has had several up-and-down seasons since arriving at South Carolina in 2022, but the last two consecutive losing seasons have raised questions about the program’s direction under his leadership.

Paris is 62-67 overall (23-49 SEC) over the last four seasons. The Gamecocks went to the NCAA Tournament during his second season in Columbia in 2023–24.
