According to ESPN's Heather Dinich, if the College Football Playoffs were to start today, five teams from the SEC would make the 12-team playoff.
Texas A&M would be projected to win the SEC and receive a first-round bye as the No. 4 seed.
Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Alabama, and Georgia would also make the playoff.
