Junior College defensive lineman Kevonte Henry announced Monday that he has flipped his commitment from Mississippi State to Alabama.

The Los Angeles native began his career at Oklahoma in 2022 before transferring to Cerritos College. Per SDS:

Henry had a strong 2023 season, earning second-team All-National Conference Central Division recognition. He posted 43 total tackles and led the team in tackles for loss with 7.5. Henry had 3.5 sacks and 1 blocked kick in 2023 over 10 games.

This season, Henry has already notched 5.5 TFLs and 2.0 sacks in 5 games. He has recorded 19 total tackles and 1 fumble recovery in the 2024 campaign.
