Alabama Five-Star Freshman WR Caleb Odom Transfers To Nearby SEC School

Former Alabama wide receiver Caleb Odom announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Wednesday. Per On3:

The Carrollton (Ga.) native was one of the crown jewels of Alabama’s 2024 recruiting class, which ranked No. 2 nationally in the On3 Industry Ranking.

Odom was tabbed as a five-star prospect and the country’s No. 30 overall recruit by On3, but was unable to crack the two-deep during his lone year in Tuscaloosa due to a deep crop of receivers.

The true freshman appeared in every game this season, catching seven passes for 65 yards but did not record any stats in SEC play.
