7-Seed Ole Miss Eliminates 10-Seed Florida

Per SEC Sports: HOOVER, Alabama (SEC Network) -- Ole Miss took advantage of Florida miscues to score all its runs in the fourth inning and then used stellar pitching to forge a 3-1 win in the second round of the SEC Tournament at the Hoover Met.
Three Ole Miss pitchers -- starter Hunter Elliott and relievers Mason Morris and Connor Spencer -- combined to hold the Gators to four hits while striking out 10 and walking just one.
Elliott started and went the first 5.1 innings, throwing 98 pitches in the process. He gave up just two hits, walked one and hit two batters while striking out eight. He gave up the only Florida run, but it wasn't earned.
Morris then entered the game and went 2.2 scoreless innings, giving up the only other two Florida hits while striking out two. Connor Spencer closed the game out with a clean one-two-three ninth inning for the save.
