Ten SEC Women's Basketball Teams Make NCAA Tournament

Per SEC: Ten Southeastern Conference teams earned bids for the 2026 NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament.

Ten matches the record for the number of SEC teams to receive NCAA bids in one season. That record was set last season.

The SEC leads all conferences in all-time NCAA Tournament bids with 291.

SEC champion South Carolina earned the No. 1 seed in Spokane Regional 4 while SEC Tournament Champion Texas will be the top-seeded team in Fort Worth 3.

Tennessee continues its appearance streak, participating in all 44 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Championships since its inception in 1982, the only team to do so.

In the WBIT, Missouri and Texas A&M will represent the conference. It’s the first WBIT appearance for both teams.
