South Carolina head coach Lamont Paris joined "SEC This Morning" on Monday and gave an example of the money schools offer to lure kids to transfer.
Paris said that an SEC school that made the tournament this season offered star forward Collin Murray-Boyles $2.5 million to play for them next year.
Murray-Boyles signed with the Gamecocks as a three-star prospect in 2023 but has developed into an NBA Draft prospect over the last two years.
After averaging 16.8 points per game and 8.3 rebounds this past season, the sophomore will decide whether to enter the NBA Draft, return to South Carolina, or test the transfer market.
