Every single scene in Jaws is perfectly set up and written and acted and filmed and scored perfectly, and it moves in and out of so many different scenarios. I could write an essay about it, but I don't have a beret handy.
ETA- I really like that Kevn Kenny song. Broken hearts and auto parts. Good song.

Jaws is more familiar and classic, but Halloween is basically the same movie in the fall instead of summer.

Halloween is my #1 favorite horror movie, if you don't count Jaws as a horror movie. It was the first horror movie I ever saw as a kid when I was being babysat by my older cousins. It still scares the shite out of me. I love Halloween (the movie).

The melodies seem to come in the morning most times. I’ll make up temporary lyrics about farts to grab hold. While doing the teeth brushing etc. Then the song will percolate throughout the day and I add lyrics where the farts were
