That one never did anything for me. People act like it’s rare air, but it just seems goofy to me. It’s good but maybe I’m missing something

I do have a Coen Bros movie on my list though. The only one on my list without an extra killer epic one of a kind soundtrack or musical score. In fact, it has no soundtrack. Not one single song. Just sound effects. Mostly wind noises. Rare stuff…..

1)
2) No Country for Old Men
3) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
4) Halloween 1 by John Capenter
5) Goodfellas

Based on these I'll say your number one is Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid

Never seen that one all the way through. Should probably revisit one day. Cant be better than Cool Hand Luke . Which is top 25

My number 1 is the most subversive misunderstood undercover troll movie ever made

This is not a joke. Twister is a masterpiece on 3,000 simultaneous levels

There’s a scene where after a hard day of storm chasing, the cast of misfits is hungry.

Their leader wants to keep going. So the gang chants ‘ “food! Food! Food!”

Paxton shrugs his shoulders and everyone goes to his aunts house for pancakes .

Then Dusty tells the greatest story ever filmed in cinema history

Jaws is better than all of those movies, given your criteria.

Also here's a music video of a 3-piece band, live. The drummer is the singer and songwriter on this one.

Sorry if I already posted this one in this thread.

Solid

Jaws is like my #4 Halloween .

—peaceful times
-no special effects so Hollywood actually had to be creative
-musical scores had to mean more to take up slack
-less is more
