The problem as usual is many of them won't be on the field due to our ongoing variety of attrition.

I don't give a frick! My expectations weren't high for this season anyways. I thought we would lose to usc and uf. Just hope we can beat Kentucky auburn and tech! We need Mizzou to lose one and they have texas am tennessee and arkansas

That doesn't look like a positive post to me. So I will ask again how is this on a mediocre QB instead of an overrated Defensive Coordinator. Did Mason give up over 400 yds rushing yesterday. Did Mason continue the whole game to run the same defense that was getting run all over.

This game is on Pruitt, no question. But how does that make him overrated? It's his first year with about as thin a secondary as you can imagine and not a whole lot of talent on that side of the ball. He's exceeded expectations and had clearly improved our defense from last year. You can't really deny that.

He is overrated because he sat there the whole game and played the same defense rather than trying to load the box to stop the run when you know they don't want to throw the ball.

And no yesterday was not an improvement over last year.

You can definitely make the argument we gave up that many yards because our defense spent the entire second half on the field due to lack of offensive productivity

I get that you're mad about the game. I am too. But one game doesn't make him overrated. He's improved our defense a lot this year.

Fair enough but you can also make the argument that if the defense gets a couple of stop our offense might get in a rhythm. And if you get a three and out you are not out there the whole second half. Did we ever get a three and out before the game was already decided.

No I really am not mad, disappointed yes. But can you honestly say that our defense yesterday was an improvement over last year.

6. Until Richt's staff finds a way NOT to shite the bed once or twice a year in big important games, Nos. 1 thru 5 don't mean squat, as they haven't since 2008.

How often do other top 6 SEC teams do this on an ANNUAL basis???

How do you not "bring the juice" in your biggest rivalry game?

Not negative....just being realistic.

How many undefeated teams are left at the end of the year? Well subtract that from the total number of D-1 teams, and now you have how many teams also shite the bed at some point during the season.
Yall complain about Richt, you must think Saban would come if we called? Be glad we are in the position to bitch and moan about 2 losses! Some of yall are shameful fans, we are in It EVERY year, to one degree or another, and Richt is the reason. be glad you got a coach that is this loyal to his school, he gives his all to UGA and all yall do is bitch. And we are on the up and up lately, we will keep improving, Pruitt will get the players he wants and the Defense will improve, Bobo has quietly been one of the best OC's in the country and the future is bright. Have some patience, the ball has to bounce your way and you have to have the pieces in place.

Richt is going to get his, It's not a matter of if, but when. Go Dawgs!

Well....on this other site I visit and we have this guy who is about annoying as frick but who has always given good insight to what Grantham, and now Pruitt was scheming in real time. I can't stand his posts but this dude(some HS coordinator ) said the same thing. The reason Langley barely touched the field was because the scheme we ran against UF was not the one against Mizz and Arky. He called it early in the UF game. "Pruitt better get out of that 4-2-5 ." He was happy when Pruitt changed it up in the Mizz game and had the scheme with Langley. He was baffled on Saturday. Could not comprehend why he was staying in basically the same set all day long. Oh well....maybe he should be our DC.

That's called coaching....more specifically making adjustments to your gameplan. And Pruitt did walk the safety up if I'm not mistaken. I didn't watch the defense that critically.

I'm no DC but when you are getting manhandled up front I'm not sure it matters what scheme you are in. I do no that have 3 DL with 4 LB's is supposed to be better vs these spread option type offenses giving you more LB's to cover the field better horizontally so it makes sense to have more DL to form a wall when at team is running right at you in the middle. The problem was that it did not matter how many we had in the box, they either got bowled over or the RB bounced outside for big plays.
