i just have a hard time in that game watching the end...and when i do...im not saying damn the defense...im saying...watch the clock, manage it, make the right decsions, and stop the clock, punch in another score FTW...the defense couldn't do all that from the sideline..

whatever...lets just agree to disagree...it was two years ago anyway..

my oldest kid lives in Thomaston with his mom...i hate going up there...

We scored 28 points against the best team in college football and yet we lost cause our D couldn't come up with ONE stop with 3 minutes left. If they had, they could've stood on that sideline and cheered while Murray and Gurley ran out the clock. I can't blame the O in any way, shape, form or fashion. But, to each his own.

We're going to atone for that this year anyway when we win the Natty!

Lived in T-Town all my life, 45 years. It's changed a lot, but it's still home.

They did last year, at one of the old mills. I think they also filmed some of the last Hunger Games movie here as well.

Negative. We were not. Just like 2011, we were a paper tiger and the defense got worked by every good team we played. You give us an actual good defense in that SECCG and we beat Bama going away. They had no business hanging with our offense that night, but our fat NT was soft as hell, our secondary didn't know what they were doing as usual, and both safeties played like fairies (SW had one good hit in the whole game).

We would have been marginally better had Grantham stayed and we not had the players kicked off, it would depend on who we hired for the open DB coach slot. With a coach that actually knows how to communicate and teach his defense and that the players don't hate, we stand a chance to be far, far more than just "a lot better" this year.

bama wore everybody out that year cause they were fricking stacked...im not defending the grantham led defense...but your argument is invalid since we lost that game in the last few seconds cause the offesne couldnt convert...not cause bama wore out the D

You're a fool if you really believe that. Bama should have been down by 10 points or more at that point, if the defense could have just stopped them here or there. We were up 21-10 with all the momentum, until they took it all right back on the next drive because we couldn't stop the run. It was embarrassing to watch.

That offense did everything you could have asked of them in that game, the loss is not on them. I bet you guys think spiking the ball would have actually made any difference too, don't you?
