Is the 4 game limit only regular season games or does it include playoffs? Thinking about Dwight Phillips and Scoavie white. We could use the help.

The strange one is the 6 foot 11 lineman that got into camp late and hadn't played football in years. He's played on special teams just about every game this season. Maybe the coaches decided to let him get his feet wet and adjust to the physicallity and then redshirt him and coach him up next season.
