137 paragraph 3, I just verified.

"It's 489 pages long"

Potential plot flaw in that.

Percolating.

Helen wouldn't have made a mental note of exactly which page and paragraph she stopped reading the novel that nobody but her and Carol have seen or known about.

But the hive knows it. The hive knows memories of people that they themselves as individuals wouldn't remember?

Something to percolate.

I like where you’re headed

The hive has already proven that they don’t tell the truth about things that might harm the hive

A grenade or atom bomb? Sure. might kill a lot of them. But only __________ can undo the joining?

Another reason, I’m sticking to Bitter Chrysalis is Pluribus theory. Or at least it’s a theme in whatever the hell puzzle this gent concocted

- the character characteristics of the hive that Carol lists on her writer’s white board

- are all similar to the things that have made her so miserable in life

- but the things she writes on the whiteboard aren’t so bad at all if you read them

-the only one that seems bad is the one about “trying to change her”

-which would be typical of a confused teenager writing about her parents

-or almost like a teenager writing in her diary about her parents, her enemy, who in fact actually love her to death and would die for her

-but now she’s coming to realize this as she writes Plur1bus in her late 40s and

I feel like Carol Burnett is going to play Carol’s mom in the flashback opener when a teenage Carol sturka is writing in her diary with a Martina Navratilova poster on the wall behind her with line themed wall paper

It was a comment she made when she was ragging on the ice motel, something like "no need to have frozen my eggs if we stayed in this place" some stupid joke that stuck out like a sore thumb to me, you don't remember that line?

You should edit the topic title to say Spoilers, this show is going to get traction and people are going to actually start reading and participating, we need to get them warned.

I feel its understood that if theres a thread where people are discussing a show that you havent watched that there's gonna be spoilers in it for you.

Also, the people that are going to wait for all of the episodes to come out before starting to watch are fools. Theres no way you can binge watch this series and get anything out of it. Or at least get the full experience of it. These people are missing the whole point and fun of this show which is trying to solve the meticulous puzzle

On that note, heres a couple things that came clear after more percolation

-I pointed out how there is a parallel in this episode between Paraguan dog food boy and Carol

- how they are both shown making lists and crossing out things with lines or underLining things

-how Carol underLines the word change. An obvious nod to the “chrysilis”

-then i remembered that aside from the frequency cross-out list, DFB also wrote a note to his storage unit tenants where he also underLined something

-he underLined two words in spanish “sera restituido”

-which translates “will be restored

-facemelter right?????

“Change” and “Will be restored “ were both underLined in the two parallels

-Thats this episode and maybe the whole show. Carol hates that everyone in this reality trying to change her into one of them. And Paraguayan DFB, like Carol, is working to get the old reality restored

Ill start another post for the other tid bit that percolated cause this ones getting long

The other thing that makes sense now after percolation is the whole “Freedom Falls” thing

-in the old reality, as a teenager, Carol’s parents sent her to gay conversion therapy summer camp to have the lesbo prayed out of her or electro shocked out or whatever thay do at those things

-it was in Tennessee of course, because the South is dumb and evil in the eyes of the commies who make these shows. But whatever

-anyway, the point is that this tidbit revealed from Carol’s past fits perfectly with the theme of the show as it is being revealed

-that in the old reality and in the new, people are always trying to change Carol from who she is.

-Her parents diidnt want her to like eating pussy. They wanted her to be like them. And they felt they were genuinely helping her by trying to convert her. And now, the hive collective doesnt want her to keep her individuality. They want her to be like them. And the hive genuinely believes they are helping her

-also the name of the camp “Freedom Falls” is another obvious nod to this theme. Carol was sent there to lose her freedom. Just like in this new reality where Freedom could Fall forever if Carol and Paraguayan DFB aren’t successful

-now things are percolating more as i type this. Holy shite….

-Helen seems to have been the one person in the entire show so far that hasnt been trying to change Carol in some way. Even Carol’s fans in episode 1 were all trying to change something. The lone male in attendance with the sword was pointing out all the historical errors and others had advice on how to make things better or were going to quit if she didnt bring Raban back etc

-change, change, change, change, change vs “will be restored”

-

Let us also not forget they are all vegans and animal lovers. But the virus doesn't seem to infect the animals, right?

That's going to come back, the stuff about the zoos, the lions, the giraffe. That dialog was so goofy it absolutely has to mean something.

This show is fricking crazy.

They also shut the grid off at night to save the planet. Because nobody works at night anymore and there’s no more crime.

It’s going to be interesting to watch this develop. Because the collective hive mind are clearly the bad guys. At least to me. Yet the real life people who make these shows, who are all vegan zoo emptying climate change no-crime-utopia-believer fanatics themselves, and who view themselves as the “good guys”, are assigning all their commie pet beliefs to the evil bad guys in this make believe story.

Very interesting.

Also, if they’re trying to make us feel bad and sympathetic for Zosia for going into cardiac arrest, it’s not working for me. I know her former self had no choice getting absorbed into the hive, but that person is gone. Her new version has dedicated her life to stealing someone else’s individual rights and liberty on behalf of a commie collective . And what is more despicable and evil than that ,?

you've definitely sold me and I will end up getting ATV for a limited time just to watch.

Only debate now is go ahead and jump in, knowing I will have an agonizingly long wait between episodes each week, or join next month when I can binge most of the season at once. Tough call. I'll probably just do it sooner rather than later, although fundamentally I despise the thought of getting another streaming service. We already have netflix, HBOMax, Prime, and Disney+/Hulu through the inlaws.

If I asked you to succinctly define the word “circle”, how would you do it ? (feel free to cheat/google it) being serious

Just started rewatching 4 and it’s like I’m watching a different show than I watched last night

Circles, dude. And I’m not even kidding or a psychotic loon

Would you say that the curved Line of a circle is the exact same distance from the circle’s center at every point along the way ?
