He certainly may be. That has always been a concern of mine. Shumann is very will thought of in Bama circles.
That said, he left with Kirby, and has been with Kirby his entire career. I really started this thread because of Shumann specifically, given the internet speculation about Kirby's possible longevity.
I just wonder if he is content to be brought along, and one day be handed the reigns of the University when Kirby retires.
A Valdosta boy, he is.

Oh, that is definitely the way I took it, even in the moment. It just seemed like a great way to publicly acknowledge the sacrifices that his family makes to do the job that he does at the University that he loves.
