Did not know this, but there’s no tailgating after kickoff in SouthBend. I have tickets, but some people I’m traveling with don’t...

For those familiar with the area, what are their options? Bar? Is the no tailgating thing really enforced?

I can't imagine they could enforce that. My group has UGA alumni tailgate tickets and one is going to watch the game at the tailgate event.

Seems absurd.

I'm not doing one of the big tailgate buses but I just checked one of their websites and it says "TV's complete with GAME VIEWING for those without game tickets to cheer on the Dawgs!"

Gonna be some mighty upset drunk folks if that's true.

I want to say I'm 99% sure that applies to "on campus" tailgating.

AS WG mentioned, the UGA Alumni association is putting on a large tailgate that will show the game for those without tickets. It's just off campus for that exact reason.

From what else I read, they have tailgating restrictions that rival UGA.

The town is about 4 miles away, just Uber to South Bend. It has a downtown not quite like athens but there are places to go.
