There has to be some help for us to make it to the BCS title game and most of it will be out of our hand...Of course we must win out and either LSU or we will take Bama out...but that still leaves Ohio State, Clemson, Stanford, Oregon.
We missed a good shot with Wisconsin beating OSU this weekend....Ohio State is at Northwestern and @ Michigan, plus a conference championship game. They also have Penn State at home left. There are 3 pretty good shots at a loss left on OSU's schedule.
Oregon has away games left with Washington, Stanford and Arizona and a home game with UCLA. Stanford or Oregon one is going to be taken out of the picture when they play one another but Washington, UCLA or even Arizona could help UGA out. Oregon will most likely have the PAC 12 Championship game also...
Stanford has the game with Oregon and the PAC 12 Championship game if they beat Oregon during the regular season at home. They also have Washington, UCLA, and Notre Dame at home and USC on the road. They have what could be 3 trap games also...Oregon State @ Corvalis, Utah on the road and California at home. They also play Notre Dame There are a lot of chances for Stanford to slip up....
Finally Clemson....They have Boston College, FSU @ Gt in Death Valley....probably not a lot of help there but one can hope. They also have Maryland in Maryland, a long shot but it could happen...and most interesting USC in Columbia. And of course the ACC Championship game.
SO...best chances for UGA? I think Michigan has to win in Ann Arbor against OSU, Stanford beats Oregon at Home and the Gamecocks beat Clemson at home....leaving Stanford as the only undefeated team in the country.
If Oregon beats Stanford and are still undefeated when they do s it would be Oregon instead of Stanford.
We only need three of these 4 to lose a game and either Oregon or Stanford is going to lose when they play one another. Lot of football left and a lot of places for 20 year old kids to have a brain fart...but we still have a slim shot!!!!

We will have to beat bama for this to matter anyway, so there's that. Oregon/Stanford play each other, and I believe they both play UCLA and Washington who are respectable. Clemson has FSU and GT. OSU worries me the most as far as losing a game, but we can still go if there's 1 undefeated out of all of the above.

i am confident that if we win the SEC with only the 1 loss against Clemson, we will play for a natty...
