I like him. In fact, I like big players in general. Clemson is a good example of a big/tall team even in their defensive backfield.
And having a big/tall QB is a huge advantage in terms of arm strength, seeing over the defense and running power to pick up those critical 2 or 3 first down yards with read/option type plays or just everyone is covered down-field in man coverage and the defenders have their backs to the QB allowing him to escape for 10 or more yards at times.

Because his supporting cast- OL, RB, receivers, are all dogshit, even worse than the ACC at large?
Newman's OL, RB, and WR's were the worst in an already bad division.

You basically said what I was implying. That he had no help. That won't be the case next season.
