re: How many here would travel to Ireland to watch the Dawgs?

I'd prefer football stay stateside. But if for some reason they did schedule a game across the pond, I'd definitely go. That part of the world is beautiful and I'd love to go back. Golf, rolling green hills, and delicious cask ales make for a great weekend.
