Geaux Dawgs - Huge Win !! Bye OU and your 33-0

Daughter and I went to the game to watch the Dawgs take on 33-0 and top ranked OU. Who was on a 40 game win streak dating back to last year. Took 9 innings but Fields (Yes his sister) drove in the winning RBI to knock off top ranked OU.

Never thought I would be a fan of Softball but I've got a 14U daughter who spends her life on the field. She and I watched the game together and it was the least she has stared at her phone in a while.
Such a resilient win and Jaiden Fields kept coming up big - even after her early blunder.
I posted to an OU Fan on Twitter that it felt like the Rose Bowl - which by the way was my daughter's first and only Georgia game (lucky kid). I'd love for my daughter to play at UGA but Mama probably won't let her go that far away from home (we live in CA).
Great exposure for UGA Softball to play OU and win that game. They are a solid team but very young. Should be fun to follow over the next few years if they can find more pitching.
Didn't even watch game two because I figured they would make us pay!
