Its refreshing to see them actually hit free throws and not turn the ball over a thousand times. Be up by 20, bring in the bench and go up by 28.

This freshman class looking solid AF

With Wilkins and Catchings you could play them at the 2 and 3 and be comfortable going big.

Dawgs win 104-59. Plenty to cleanup but overall, pretty explosive team.

There were things I was looking for and they excelled at all of them. They hit their free throws, they didnt turn the ball over a lot. They were aggressive on defense and created turnovers. There were a few great passes that caught guys off guard but that will get cleaned up as they play more together. I thought a few times our defensive rotations were off and need a little work but there is a lot to be excited about. Our bench built on a lead instead of letting a team get back into the game. I feel like this team can do some great things this year. I believe we are going to shock some people this year. Depth is going to be huge.

How was the floor spacing on offense?
This is my biggest gripe about Coach White.

It was better than in the past. This team is really deep with talent so they pressure a lot. These guys have to keep their heads on a swivel when Catchings is in there. Jake Wilkins is good and Stagg is good as freshmen.

Cyril, Catchings and Wilkins together on the floor is dangerous.

This may be the best team I've ever seen at Georgia. Im calling it now. They will beat more than one of the top teams in the sec.

I really frickin hate that the SEC is just video game good at literally every sport. This team 20 years ago would probably be a top 20 national team but we're looking at hoping to just be top half of just our conference here in 2025. Oh well...yes we look to have some damn solid pieces in place. Love early season basketball excitement.
That 2003 team was the best I've ever seen. There is no doubt whatsoever in my mind that if that gutless turd Adams hadn't seppuku'd our postseason that that was a final 4 caliber team. One of my fondest UGA basketball memories is that win over #3 Florida in Harrick's last home game. I still have it on VHS.

0-13 from 3 is a bit concerning.
Love the new court look though

Yea they are just throwing them up everytime down the court but they are up by 15 and getting the offensive rebounds. This team pressures a lot, plays great defense and creates turnovers. Now Wilkins and Stagg are back in.

Catchings, Cyril, Wilkins and Stagg are going to be the heart of this team. James looks better. Cyril is better on the offense than last year.

I like that they are still putting them up. 17+ 3s in a half and pressing on defense is the good stuff..
Just wonder if White will do the same against similar talented teams.

This team took gt to overtime and Georgia is up by 22 right before half. Update up 26 at half 2-19 from the 3 Cain hit both.

Catching’s is 6-9 guarding a 5-11 PG. Unreal how freakish athletic he is. He’s the next great one. Top 10 caliber at his peak.

Dawgs dominating 51-18 16:42 2nd

Catchings, Cyril, Wilkins and Stagg are 2 sophomores and 2 freshmen. Imagine if they all come back next year.
