Tropicalia was also my favorite beer for many years after it came out, which has been quite a while now. When they got big and started getting distributed big-time, the quality fell off. In my personal opinion, as a former homebrewer, they cut down on their aging time. They were getting it out the door as fast as possible to the distributors to meet their purchase orders. Although not a full-on IPA, it's still hoppy enough with a high enough ABV that it needs to be aged just a little bit. What you get now is "green" as brewers would say, needs 5 or 6 weeks more in the tank before bottling.
People keep buying the shite out of it though, but it's not like it used to be. It used to be special, it's what made them famous and popular. Once that fame and money came in, standards fell.
I'm just calling it like I see it.

All we need now is for cheese grits to come along and pretend like he cooks possum on a stick fire for breakfast

Have you purchased, I don’t know, say, food, beverages, consumer goods, a car, a home, or anything via retail in the last several years? Since you apparently haven’t, I have some bad news about inflation….
The part where you go… “I don’t know, say…” cracked me up.
I pictured you with your eyes rolled sideways as you said that part and with your lower lip poked out. Hands on your hips, of course

That would be both a little weird and wildly inaccurate, but don’t let that stop you.

How do I find the old turd monster graphic for creature comforts? The one that I am credited with influencing the company to change
It was actually a f’n monster relaxing on a turd pile. It’s been scrubbed

Any updates?
It was a monster. His arm leaned back on the turd pile. While relaxing
Aka someone’s vision of a “creature” being “comfortable”

I got an automated reply with their hours. But it also assured me they'd get back to me.

And so, the shite monster walks through the night. Alone beneath the feint light of the waxing gibbous. Collecting turds.
Whereupon he brings them back to his cave. Arranges them neatly in a pile. And relaxes upon em…..
