Players down on the field barely feel the wind. But in a stadium like that the wind actually swirls. Some passes or FGs are pushed right, and the next one may be pushed left. The QB or kicker can't "see" the wind until the ball is in the air.
Not sure that's right. When I played I definitely felt the wind, the cold, the rain etc. The only condition I did not see was fog. We had a game in which fog rolled in and while my eyes were impaired, I could see ok. When we watched the film of the game we could barely see the field. Again...vision was somewhat impaired but not as much as film picked up.
But yes, wind does tend to swirl in an enclosed field and it can make passes and kicking difficult. but Saturday the problem was Stetson threw the ball into a terrible situation. No way he should have thrown the balls into the coverage. He will have to do better, and, I hope, Kirby crawls all over him and makes sure he understands he has to protect the ball better.
If he starts to put the ball into precarious situations he needs to come out of the game. In the past those decisions came in bunches when they hit. Sometimes he has more confidence in his arm than he needs to. A QB has to have confidence in his abilities, and yet still be aware of his limitations.

To deliver . Love the kids moxy and we’re winning but a deep
Ball QB he is not
In the TD to Kearis Jackson he drops back to the 45 and throws the ball 5 yards into the endzone. 50 yards in the air and a perfect throw.
His are is strong enough. It's his decision making that hurts him from time to time.
