He will go to Auburn if he transfers instead of just entering the draft.
Doesn't he need permission to transfer to an SEC school?

I hope so. This team has had an attitude problem all year and has been so unlike every other team we've seen under CBJ. Locker room problems can produce a lot of problems in play. Hopefully, with at least one of the problems finally being removed they can get back to the more typical team identity and play we're used to seeing from this group of players.
If I recall correctly, UT was the least penalized team in the SEC during CBJ's first year.

I refuse to believe he will be transferring anywhere. He's going to train on his own and try to show out at the combine iyam.
Hurd has had nearly 700 touches in his college career so far. That's a ton of mileage. No fricking way he will continue playing football for free

I'm sorry prof but this team/coaching still has numerous issues, Hurd leaving isn't like waving a magic wand

No I agree. It would be dumb for him to transfer instead of going to make money. Players make transitions to other positions all the time when entering the draft.
@Walt, yeah he would have to be released to transfer where he wanted unless he went to another school for a year and then transferred where he wants (I think).

I think the school can grant a conditional release or an unlimited release. If he went to a school in a different conference, he could play right away, but he cannot play at Auburn this year.
Why dafuq would you want to go somewhere for 4-5 games where you don't know the system? You have already shown yourself as a loser putz of the first magnitude who plans to go to the Combine in the Spring.

If he transfers it won't be for this season
And the school can pretty much limit him however they want as far as where he goes
Usually they say anywhere in conference or future opponents is off limits

I realize that. I'm focused on us coming together as a team and winning out. See what happens. Hell we could still wind up in ATL. I'm convinced there will be changes in the offseason. I mean we already know that Mahoney's contract wasn't renewed which pretty much means he's gone. And if I had to guess there will be other changes too.

goddamit Prof - change your sig. I hate singing that fricking song everytime I read one of your post's. Oh yeah, frick Hurd. I wish him well but if he don't want to play here pack your bags and shuffle on. This team has some real men on it that we'll be cheering for on Sundays in the very near future. This is a decision Hurd will regret the rest of his life.
