Staff possibilities per Volquest

Colorado State OC Will Friend has already been confirmed as OL coach.
- Gillespie has the opportunity to stay. Seems to be the only coach from the former staff Pruitt may keep.
- Names to watch for OC: USC QB coach Tyson Helton, Auburn OC Chip Lindsey, Alabama co-OC Mike Locksley
- Names to watch for defensive staff (this has me in a froth):
Kevin Sherrer (UGA LB coach)
Lance Thompson (SCe DL coach)
Tracy Rocker (former UGA and AU DL coach)
Chris Rumph (UF DL coach)
Terry Fair (VFL and CSU DB coach)
Charles Kelly (FSU DC)

Will Friend would be an awesome hire. Not sure why he would leave his job as an OC to become just an OL coach though.

It would be a step down in title. You don't see many coaches doing that. Maybe they'll say co-OC.

Or maybe he’ll get a modest raise, get to work with his college roommate, and get away from that loser that you UGA fans were so desperately trying to pump up as a good coach.

Maybe he'll get a fat raise. We'll see how it plays out. UT is in a fun phase right now where the sky is the limit. As far as Bobo, you guys haven't had a good OC in years so I understand that some of you won't recognize a good one when you see one.
