Hi folks,
As many of you know from my other thread, I bought tickets from a UT fan in Nashville to take my FIL to the Bama game at Neyland, FIL is a huge UT fan.
Anyway, the tix came with a parking pass for Lot 14, the directions say"Joan Cronan Way, enter off Neyland Drive"
I've been looking on the UT sports website for parking and game day information and I'm not finding anything about a lot 14 or how to get there, not even seeing a Joan Cronan Way on google earth.
Can someone point me to a link or something that tells me where that is and how to get to it? The guy I bought the tix from said there was a shuttle from there to the stadium, which might be nice for my FIL, he's 80 years old. Any help would be appreciated.
After watching UK play twice now, I'm ready for some good football, so I'm getting excited about this game, my first one in Neyland. My FIL attended games years ago, from the 50's thru the 80's, so he's really pumped too. I will not be wearing UK gear, will be wearing an orange shirt for this one.
Thanks again for any help.

It is really easy to find. That is where the softball field, some volleyball shite, and parking services is and there is no outlet so it would be impossible to get lost. Neyland Dr is the only way to get there.
The link above makes it pretty clear.

Thanks for the link, wasn't seeing that from my prior searching.

Yeah, I'm not seeing much of a parking lot in that area, but maybe since it's a dead end, they park kind of all over the place. I do see one place with spots, but it looks like the treatment plant parking, but maybe they use that. Anyway, like you said, I can't get lost if I come in that way.
Should I try to get her from the stadium side or from the opposite direction maybe 3 hours before game time? Looks like I could take I40 to Alcoa, and get off onto Neyland from there, and go out the same way, if that is flowing that direction on game day?
Edit: Looks to be a bit more parking not necessarily on Joan Cronan Way, but if you turn left onto Stephenson, there is what looks to be bus type parking near the softball or other areas, perhaps that is the parking for lot 14.

I hope someone chimes in on traffic because I have never driven that way on gameday, but I would go exactly how you are thinking (40, Alcoa Hwy). In my mind that would be the best way.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge can help you out there. I am sure traffic will be bad no matter what.

Hi folks, sorry for bumping an old thread, but thought it made more sense to bump this one than start a new one.
I'm super excited for the Bama game and so is my FIL.
Any advice on gameday traffic flow that might help me? Based upon google earth/maps, it seems my most direct path in and out is to take 75 south, 40 east, alcoa highway to Neyland Drive, Neyland Drive to the softball fields parking area, and then reverse it going back out.
I've been searching UT's gameday page, and Knoxville gameday information and can't find if any of that is blocked off, or turned into one way at some point before or after the game.
Does that route make sense?
Also, I'm planning to leave Lexington by about 7am, stop and eat, and get into the Knoxville area by 11-11:30 depending on traffic. Should I expect to hit delays on 75 or 40 or Alcoa coming in?
Any advice would be appreciated. I hope to get there and parked by noon at the latest and then do whatever my FIL wants to do, walk around talking to tailgators, wonder along the river, etc. This trip is for him, and we are both super excited.
Any advice would be appreciated on traffic flow.
Good luck today with ATM.
