I know I saw him out there. Can't remember which side though
If it was due to injury that is scary. It might also be why we went more conservative. Our oline uses pull blocking in the running game. We've had a lot of success from that and I can't imagine Crowder being very good at that from the tackle position. It requires a level of athleticism and technique that I don't think he has.

We had an awesome opportunity to make a statement up 17-3 against a good team and didn't. This game and last year against UF are inexcusable losses.
Have to give credit to our D, those guys played well enough to win pretty much the whole game and OU did a good job of isolating and picking on our liabilities.
I might be wrong, but it looked like their D brought someone on a blitz about every play and mostly off the edge. We never really adjusted and those last 3-4 drives in regulation were painful to watch. I think we tried to throw vertical once.

It's first quarter of a game in which Tennessee hasn't won since '09. LOUD sell out crowd and then some.
First OU possession - defense stops them and gets off the field
UT possession - Offense is rolling out of the gate. drive goes to the OU 1 yard line.
3rd and goal. DeBord decides to run power up the middle with Kamara, with a 6-4 240 lb running back watching from the bench. 4th and half a yard, Butch takes the field goal.
It was this moment I knew we would lose the game. What in the hell does this tell your players??

I hate to ask but, can Butch actually coach?
As an outsider looking in, I have said it before and will say it again, Butch Jones is the Tennessee equivalent to Jim Donnan. He can recruit but he can't coach. The good thing for y'all is Richt won biggest with Donnan's recruits. So if y'all can get a coach that can win with Butch's recruits you'll be back where Tennessee belongs.
