Campus and the Strip are effed up

How in the world did they let nearly every building on campus get to the point of a major renovation and/or tear down and rebuild? Once they are done, there will be like one or two buildings left on campus that were there when I graduated in the 2000s.

The US in general is aging infrastructure wise. No one wants to spend money to replace it until it's basically a safety hazard
