If you happened to be a football recruit, you'd be a D-III walkon.

So defensive. Wonder why?

quote:

LSU has been extremely mediocre since the SEC expanded then
this statement is very true. Lsu has been very mediocre as of lately. Still we are undefeated against the Aggies and have won both sec titles and national titles since 2000. The only recruiting threats are out of state schools who already have instate battles (I.e. Longhorns v. Aggies, tide v. tigers) it is my experience as a self proclaimed Texan that UT has more pull with texas kids (historically). A&M is the IT program now. It'll be hard to stay there playing in the west (bama, lsu, auburn) and with Strong recruiting the way he is and other factors like Baylor and A&M now competing.

I don't buy for a second that Arkansas, a school with lots of deep pocket boosters, is paying players. Our recruiting would be way, way better...we'd get the occasional 5 star from out of state.

Then you would be wrong Auburnphan23... Ignoring 5-10 Top 10 finishes in the 70's , 80's and 90's with 7-8 conf Champ and 7-8 top 5 recruiting classes.

00-10 was the WORST decade ( next to 60's) of A&M football, but that was the anomoly.
