I don't know why they spout this narrative.
Last season, we won more games than they did and did so against better competition. In the Egg Bowl, they needed a truly awful performance (bad special teams, a shitload of turnovers) to beat us in overtime on their home turf. We were literally the best win they had all year. It doesn't serve them well to say things like "Ole Miss is terrible" because, if we are terrible, then what the flying frick is State?
