Also people posting new predictions or where they think he is going is pure speculation obviously because they can’t contact the recruits right now …. So basically it’s all the same info ..

That was last year it’s a new year it was year 1 . We are much improved talent wise and now have a decent backup as well. Not saying we are a toop 20 defense yet but it wouldn’t suprise me if we were . Last years defense was awful but we also didn’t have a qb who could throw a forward pass for 3 straight games so offenses had the ball a lot too…. But yes it was horrible .
That’s all well and good, but Mizzou returns almost all of its production from a pretty stout defense from last year which makes it funny that you bring up the fact that you didn’t have a qb who could throw a forward pass for 3 games. You do realize Mizzou’s qb played every game from game 2 on with a torn labrum in his throwing shoulder behind a terrible OL which was heavily shored up this season through the portal, right? Also not saying Mizzou’s offense is going to be top 20, but it the same kinds of issues didn’t drag us down to almost a triple-digit ranked defense.

Dude, you spend more time shite-talking in threads involving UGA than you do Bama recruiting threads

How is that talking shite?
OU presumed leader for months
In the weeks leading up to it there’s chatter about multiple other schools
OU writers saying they are losing confidence.
I’ll happily admit I talk shite about UGA fans, and I don’t really care for the vast majority of you very much. Not the case here though, the two situations are near perfect parallels. You even have mizzou with the “home state school” angle where FSU had the “dream school” angle.

That’s why I have been saying for a while it’s OU and everyone else . Common trend OU UGA… then it’s OU missouri … OU always in it .

Yeah UGA was common favorite in KJB recruitment. Will see how that works out for you MOJO.
Posted on 8/6/23 at 2:12 pm to MOJO_ERASER
Well that’s part of the comparison too, with KJ it was always UGA and with WN it’s been OU.
It’s a great comparison for the most part. The mutts are just salty at me about comments in other threads even though I’m implying they or Mizzou could be the FSU to OU’s UGA in this scenario.
I think the flaw in it is thay WN seems to have more meaningful relationships at OU than KJ did at UGA.

LMAO - what a horrible take. Kirby Smart was primary recruiter for KJ and he visited UGA 18 times.

And he didn’t commit.
Also if you can read, which I have my doubts of, I said “more” meaningful relationships, not that he didn’t have meaningful ones at UGA.
WN has a former coach and multiple former teammates at OU, and that’s without mentioning Venables who players generally love.
If just the head coach was enough to do it for guys then Saban a few years ago and Kirby now would literally get anyone they wanted. Just having a good relationship with the HC isn’t enough.

Your take was poor - just own it.

Yeah that’s it, flake out of an argument with any resistance whatsoever. Cuck.
Posted on 8/6/23 at 3:14 pm to TrussvilleTide
You got served on a horrible and biased take and now you’re embarrassed about it.
Kirby was KJ’s best coaching relationship and he took 18 different days of his life to go visit the UGA football program.

What’s embarrassing is claiming this relationship was so strong when he didn’t even pick UGA
Your stance would be obviously correct if he put on a Georgia hat last night. He didn’t.
Think it’s obvious the relationship between them was good, but at the very least also overstated.
18 whole days? So your stance is he just came to hang out with your coach for 18 whole days and then friend-zoned him?

KJ didn’t pick UGA because F$U made him an offer he couldn’t refuse - and I have been the first to say “take the money” if someone gives you a stupid good offer.

A fan of the team with the highest NIL expenditure every year since NIL started complaining about NIL

You really are a moron. Recruiting budget does not equal NIL.

You’re really upset about this. You just got a good RB and made up on missing a 5* legacy RB last year, you should be happy
Posted on 8/6/23 at 3:45 pm to TrussvilleTide
I am happy - just pointing out your inaccuracy on your KJ takes. That’s all.
Posted on 8/6/23 at 3:46 pm to Long Dawg
How do you know they are inaccurate? The writers who told you he was going to Georgia this whole time reported it, correct? Surely we don’t have some form or recent evidence that they may have misread Bolden….
