So for future reference, the LSU party line is now "if he has an offer we wanted him" correct?

Such a list would be irrelevant to Jamal Peters and Leo Lewis, so I'm not sure I see the point.

You said you've had the most success recruiting their part of the state. Just curious.

Devin Voorhies, last year.

Incorrect. Try again. We got CJ Hampton, gave zero fricks about Voorhies after. Hampton is a few tiers above Voorhies as a player.

Miss St has had 2x as many drafted the last 3 years than Ole Miss.

Holy shite. I'm sorry.

You clearly don't understand what Houston Nutt did to our program.

Then you should know that Lewis and Peters aren't going to LSU.

Logan Stokes is from Alabama. MSU recruited both Dicksons and Garrett.

I'd like to see the list MS kids LSU really wanted that didn't sign with LSU and panned out.

I mean sure, if you want to move the goal posts. That's not the argument we're having.

I don't know every kid LSU has offered (read: "really wanted") though.

Because he committed to us over the summer and was 100% solid so you didn't bother.

You are the one moving the goal posts. If a kid commits to LSU early in the process, Ole Miss simply "didn't want him."

That's rationalization.

We got the better safety in the class. We weren't going to take two. I'm not sure what you want from us.

Oh, backpedaling, I see?

Ole Miss would have taken Voorhies. Just because you have another player at the same position doesn't mean you cut a Top 5 player in the state loose, especially not an ATHLETE like Voorhies (calling him a safety is pretty narrow - there is talk of him moving down to LB).

The fact is that Voorhies committed to LSU early in the process and shut down his recruitment. Ole Miss people can tell themselves they didn't want him but that is a lie.

We wanted Devin. Our biggest homer mod admitted as much that we went after him hard in the end. But there is a big difference in us going after our guy at a position vs a talented guy. CJ was Saban and Freeze's top DB target last year. Just like I'm sure yall didn't go after Devin as hard as yall did Jamal. What we are saying is while we wanted Devin, we got who we wanted at the position

CJ Hampton is an excellent talent, no doubt. Thanks for being able to admit the truth about Voorhies.

And you can tell yourself whatever you want. You can be wrong too.
