Is Gates really gonna take 5-6 HS players? That’s a bold move this day and age that doesn’t typically pan out well

It is a bold move, but if you can get the majority of them to stay through their eligibility or to when they are ready for the league it can produce an insanely cohesive team. Gates' guys love playing for him and he proved last year that he can maximize a team's potential as well as develop guys into NBA players when nobody thought they had a chance.
