So was AU. So were others. UGA just happened to have a whistle blower, and it was a huge blow to our program. No one took advantage of that better than AU. Thankfully we finally started turning the rivalry around back in 2002, and especially after another lucky AU win over UGA in 2005.

Everyone was doing that. It was called partial qualifiers and most couldn’t cut it no matter the school.
Jan Kemp was hated by Georgia fans, but she was right and she made UGA a better place and a better university. That is probably not popular to say even today. Auburn came with an eyelash of losing it’s accreditation, and is nowhere near the school UGA is.
