Not many. The trend is multiple RBs for a variety of reasons. And now most RBs jump to the NFL early so it's basically impossible to get 1k in carries. But as recently as Ron Dayne, Lesean Mccoy, Knowshon, and Cedric Benson guys were getting 250+ carries a season. That was simply the norm in most conferences. To act like Lattimore was getting an unheard of number of carries is sheer hysteria.
