Muschamp is directly responsible for the offensive failures. I'm not sure how you explain that away regarding the absolute lack of depth.
I agree with this to an extent, but by the same degree (if not more so) Muschamp is/was responsible for our defensive success.
Of the non-required wins* (UK,USCe or Mizzou, UAB, VU, UNC)
Florida should be favored in 3 (UT, USCe or Mizzou, TAMU); toss up in 3 (UGA, LSU, UM- this is a messed up line and will drop as people look at the Wolverines returning starters) and only the underdog in one a home game vs. FSU.
Honestly less than 9 would really disappoint and more than 10 would surprise.
*If Mac drops one of these he's on the hot seat barring 10 wins and Atlanta)

That's what I said. We have a free home game and the offense should be okay.
Defense looked good last year even without ''Muschamp's'' talent (five players out).

We still had 2 1st Rd picks at Corner and Dawson, and Brantley. The offense 2 years later is not WM fault. You've worn that excuse to the bone. There was zero improvement on offense despite the entire staff returning and all the players being Mac's. Also I find it hilarious the other excuses used to rationalize Mac not hiring people til NSD. Nord is still here, and all the other coaches except Seider were reaches like Callahan

Corey Bell is very well respected all around South Florida. Brad Davis is an unknown, but I remember distinctly how scrappy North Texas was when we played them. Not supremely talented, but scrappy- borderline dirty. That's how you want your offensive line to play.
You also didn't like Torrian Gray, don't like Randy Shannon, and don't like Chris Rumph. Your opinion of assistant coaches is "if they aren't Nick Saban himself, I don't like him". Try to enjoy your team recruiting well just so they get blown out in Jacksonville again. Stop being so obsessed with Florida

He reminds me a lot of the Georgia posters, makes a lot of the same arguments and has the same writing style as a few.
That being said, he's only posted on people we didn't land.
5 4 star DBs is pretty solid, with some good linebacker talent to shape up in the next few years and our defense looked to be in the best scheming we've seen in a long time -- Charlie Strong days.

I'm of the opinion that UF is always going to have the athletes to have a solid defense. Maybe inexperienced some years, but they'll be talented and show flashes and be good to great more years than not.
Offensively, we are successful when we have good offensive schemes. I think Mac has a good scheme offensively, we just really need the players, starting with quarterback. I think we've built up talent and depth at every offensive position, and capable QB play is going to really cause the offense to explode. It forces defenses to defend the pass and in turns opens up the run game. Hopefully Franks, Trask, Allen, or Toney can be the guy. And if none of them, then Sitkowski in this class.

We set the school record for sacks against NTX. Callahan was well respected and how that turn out? Gray was a fantastic hire. You're FoS. Shannon and Rumph are average coaches and recruiters. They're results show that here. I'd like my team not getting boat raced by Bama, FSU, or Arkansas and offensive coaches to actually have a good offense. You know deliver on what they sold The fans and why they were hired.

Randy Shannon is anything but an average coach and recruiter. Chris Rumph is anything but and average coach and recruiter. Both have landed 5 stars here. Both have gotten some damn good production out of the defense and out of the DL specifically. You're full of shite.
Two four star offensive linemen are posting on Twitter how much they like Brad Davis. Interesting.

You are frickin' crazy sometimes, TJ.

Uga fan, no question about it. TJ's been trolling quite well for a long time. Hey TJ, I'll ask again for the 4th time. Is there any UF player or coach that you do like?

McElwain walked into literally had 9 players by mid-December. It was the worst recruiting class we've had in a while and honestly.
Once again you are totally off topic, which was the 2017 class.

I like them all. My favorite is Chris Thompson

I guess that is why you start countless threads on how much Mcelwain, Shannon, all the new hires suck and should be fired?

What 5* has Shannon landed here?
Rumph 5 4*s and 5 3*s
Shannon 4 4*s and 12 3*s
Per 247 during their time here. That's average for Florida. Most of UFs sacks came against NTX, UMass, and UK.

literally just posted your line -- four upperclassmen vs. our four underclassmen. There's literally nothing else to say after that for the OL.
You think upperclassmen automatically equals quality? You just aren't very smart.

Where did I say that? You'd rather a true freshman starting rather than a five year senior?
Unless that senior was a walk-on, you wouldn't say that.

You made the implication. If our ol sucks, then ol recruiting and development has been a Major problem at uga, right?
As for your question, if I had to choose, I would pick a talented frosh over an untalented senior. At least then you are building for the future.
