Out of curiosity, are you guys going after Jammie Robinson, too, after getting Daniel and Smith on board? I know Auburn wants him.

Oh we still want him. Not sure what our board looks like with regard to another big time DLineman IF we get Sorrels, but word is if we do have a surprise out there ... then maybe Robinson's slot gets burned there. I seriously doubt it though considering we'd have to find another DB for the 2020 class and we're already looking really good on three more DLinemen for 2020.

I just don't see us turning down Robinson if he wants to commit ... so long as there is a slot waiting on him when he finally decides. It just looks a lot like maybe he is waiting on a commitable offer from UGA or maybe Auburn.

His best friend is already committed to us ... not sure if that will make a difference or not.

This is shaping up to an interesting recruiting battle to me. I would think after losing Daniel we would go ahead and give him a commitable offer, unless our coaches were feeling really, really good about somebody else. (I am hoping Elam)

I knew SC was really doing work on the DLine the last several years. It is really shaping up to be a big strength for you guys going forward.

Don't think Robinson has a commitable offer at this time. Several prospects ahead of him right now on the board.

Similar to Jamyest Williams in that he is a really good player but not prototypical size.

This is what has me a little confused. I get we feel great about Cine and Stevenson. I think they are locked down. But we want to take another one, and the only one I see is Elam, and he appears to be a Florida lean. I also know not to count Kirby out, but who else do we have above Robinson....do you know or have an idea?

There are several potential names out there. As I said, Robinson doesn't meet the size profile and criteria, and he is an in state kid.

What we have seen is that this means it's very unlikely we give a commitable offer and/or pursue him hard, because if we pull a guy we like better from out of state, it's a bad situation to be in where you potentially have to slow play or pull an offer from a committed guy at a well known high school.
