The bammers have no reason to say Clemson sucks other than the fact that they have heard it is similar to Auburn. I doubt any posting here have ever even been.
Most likely not.

It's decent. Definitely in the upper half of SEC towns, and certainly not on the same level as Starkville (which barely qualifies as a town) or Auburn or Columbia. And FWIW there isn't an interstate than runs directly through Lexington, so if you're talking about 64 or 75 it wasn't really "through" the town.

starkville and auburn are 1000x better than columbia. its about as awesome a town as cleveland ohio......oh wait. no wonder you like it, reminds you of the shite hole youre from.

have you ever been to Cleveland?
ETA: Starkville and Auburn are little nothing towns. Dont blink type of places. Columbia is a major city. There is no way you can say either of the places are better then Columbia if you take off your homer glasses.

FWIW, everyone I know from Cleveland constantly talks shite about and about how terrible it is.

Probably from the west side. It does suck balls. The east side is nice as hell.

nothing in the state of ohio is nice as hell. the whole state is a wasteland

Wow. A thread about Zeke pike turns into a omparison thread on the merits of clemson as a college town. wow.

Yep. Columbus is about as "nice" as it gets, and even then it's still a soulless city with no culture or any kind.

Once again wrong. Cleveland shits on Columbus. We have all the culture that they dont. Actually spend time here before you make baseless claims.

"culture" of what? Bankruptcy? Rusty metal?
The whole state of Ohio is devoid of any culture or identity.

Little Italy, the biggest theater district between NY and Chi, World class orchestra, amazing musuems, 3 pro sports teams, the r+r hall of fame, slavic village, tremont, the warehouse ditrict, beautiful suburbs, and an amazing metro park system disagree. But once again keep making uniformed claims.

can your really consider those teams "pro"? not only does cleveland suck as a town, but their sports franchises seem to go just like their city. nowhere.

I'm talking about culture that's exclusive to Ohio, not "culture" meaning operas and plays and nice restaurants. Nowhere in Ohio has it because it doesn't exist. What comes to mind when you think of Ohio? I'm drawing a blank here.
