How is clemson doing this well in recruiting? What is the draw to a shitty town in south carolina where you will be mediocre and the peach bowl is like getting to go to the national championship.

While I agree with the last part, there is nothing shitty about Clemson, SC as a town whatsoever. It's actually a beautiful town in a great location.

Considering the kid was just supposed to just announce his finalists this week but now is suddenly going to commit out of the blue right after going to Auburn's Spring Game then I would agree that he is an Auburn Lock.

It's not a bad town, but the rest of his post is spot on.

Probably beause, outside of the Florida teams, they've got the best tradition on the atlantic seaboard (not that that is saying a whole lot)

Ive been, and am not an SC fan, although Columbia is way better then Clemson. Its a slow little town with little to do, just like Auburn. I do think it better then Auburn becuase of the lake though. Much better and closer then Lake Martin.

I know it was a long time ago, but I just saw they lost to Syracuse 41-0 in the 1996 Gator Bowl.

Key words. Their "tradition" is little more than losing in mediocre/low level bowl games.

Hell no. While Columbia is no Athens, BR, or Tuscaloosa, its way better then Auburn, or Starkvegas.

Yeah but if you're a kid that grew up on ACC football, they're a name that you've heard ALOT (not every kid can go to FSU). And they do have title.

WOW. Lexington isn't as good as Athens or BR, but it's a hell of a lot better than Auburn, Columbia, and maybe even Tuscasloosa.

eta: I see you edited. Good call.

The bammers have no reason to say Clemson sucks other than the fact that they have heard it is similar to Auburn. I doubt any posting here have ever even been.
