I agree. We are only above average on offense and defense.

fwiiw...Cam's stats are unbelievable against the blitz packages.

This! Once Cam beats the blitz, there is no one to stop him.
SFP never played a down of football in his life. He loves to crticise coaches. Read his post history, well just a few hundred of his poosts will demonstrate his stupidity! He claims to have an IQ of 163.

All year they play pressure D and today they switch to a more conservative game plan to try and stop Newton? we can say it, LSU is probably the most talented team in the SEC this year, we just have the worst coaching staff ever assembled on a D1 football team

You know, I agree w/ you. But that's football. Your coaches study film and make informed decisions as to what gameplan they think has the best chance of success. Chavis made an informed decision; the game results show that it was the wrong decision. It happens. If it happens too much, though, you have a systemic problem. The problem with LSU's offensive coaching is systemic. You can call it bad clock management, but it comes down to an offensive coaching staff that does not tailor its scheme to its personnel, and which uses multiple personnel groupings that the players cannot execute properly, leading to delays of game, wasted time, not enough/too many players on field, receivers who don't know the play, etc. Your best offensive plays are improvised runs from a QB who last yr was serviceable and this year is a basket case, due to the HORRIBLE coaching he's receiving.
