Speaking of poor and broke, the country that both universities belong to is just about 17 trillion in debt. We all poor.
I don't want to get into details, but no we're not "poor" as a nation. In a fiat monetary system (which we are in complete control of, by the way) being in national debt isn't like you or me being in debt. It's not like someone's going to repo our country for not paying our bills.

Oh that's right. Alabama is a bastion of wealth equality, public health, race relations, and social justice. Totally.
Bitches please. This whole "LURL HURR DURR MURRSURRSURRPURR" bullshite is just a convenient way for y'all to ignore your own shortcomings. It's like the fat kid making fun of the slightly fatter kid because he hates himself for being a fat kid.

I've found that graduates from both schools are fairly good workers, at least the ones I've hired.

I just interviewed an Arkansas student who is graduating this May. Sharp as shite. Guy's got upper middle management written all over him.
(Actually he really was a smart guy. He'll do well wherever he ends up. He is from Oklahoma originally... are there a lot of Okies at U of A?)

I mean, that's basically what you're admitting to. Congrats.

Not at all. Wasn't born in Alabama and haven't lived there in over two years. Honestly couldn't care less about it or Mississippi. But Mississippi is objectively worse.

I don't understand the whole academics argument against Mississippi schools, with the exception of Vanderbilt, pretty much all of the schools in the SEC are on the same plane of academic integrity.
