They also realize this is their glory year, and next year they will be back to their normal place, as will LSU......so they are somewhat humble about their success so far.......at least most are irl.

That's the main thing I have noticed as well. State fans seem to just be enjoying the ride for the most part and not spending time acting like arrogant assholes. Ole Miss fans, even IRL, act like they are Alabama and have been running the SEC the past decade.

and they are yet to play the best defense in the SEC. Both of them turn the ball over a lot...Ole Miss has already forced 20 turnovers this year. I'm not saying we win those games, but I like our odds.

Without a doubt, Ole Miss has the most impressive win between our two teams.

Without a doubt, LSU has by far the most difficult schedule to date...and it isn't even close. It's comical you guys gloating over beating Alabama. I realize you NEVER do this, and because you did, you think that propels you into greatness territory. Alabama will lose 3 games minimum this year....minimum.....and LSU has beaten them 8 out of the last 13 regular season games....it's a huge deal for you...not so much for LSU....

fkn amazing. You have played exactly one good team this year, and you talk shite like you are some great team.....best in the country. Your toughest part of your schedule is coming up, and yet you talk shite. I do understand, there has been 50 years of frustration and over a decade of complete jealousy for all of LSU's success....but jesus man.....you could very possibly still lose 2-4 games...please stop with the GREAT thing for now....

Funny. Irrational for me to say we are one of the best teams in the nation, but it's okay when every media outlet has us in the Top 3. Mmmmmk buddy.

You're an idiot if you truly believe we could lose 4 games.

I'm actually happy for State......LSU has beaten them even more than Bama has beaten you over the last 20 years...if that is possible.....and they have a lot more class than Ole Miss fans. I feel the same way. Several of my family members are MSU alums and they are just happy to be in that position. They know they have some tough games coming up. I do hope they win out.

Because this is probably the only opportunity in our lifetime for LSU to play spoiler to Ole Miss.

This is the correct answer...

you really don't get it do you. Alabama ran over 150 on you....no reason to think LSU won't....and Jennings will do just enough. Ole Miss has no offense that compares to MSU or Auburn.....it will be a very good game.

Sorry if this has been asked, why do you talking about past and present Ole Miss, while only discussing past LSU?

again....I realize you are new to this...but you are giving this WAY too much credit. That same media had A&M in the top 5 a few weeks ago....

then I'm an idiot. I don't think they will lose all four....I do think they will lose AT LEAST 2. They are 3 point favorites this week. Currently, they are a 2 point favorite to both MSU and State at home....and are an 8 point favorite at Arkansas.....those lines against Auburn and MSU could very well change after this weekend.

I'm done messing with you kid. You are new to this, and have no idea how to win with class....and to top it off you are delusional. A fan that has a team with a history of winning big, would be saying things like..."well, we are doing well so far, but we realize things are going to get a lot tougher"....."just glad to be where we are".......but instead of those humble statements.....Ole Miss Fans:

We are the best team in the country, most talented, LSU has no chance, etc.,

Just a couple of quotes so that next year when this idiot fires up the same old dribble, everyone can look back and remember how dumb he is.

You're absurd. I'll keep this short. Our offense is just as good as both of those teams. There is just one difference, there has only been one game this year that it was a ball game in the second half(Bama). Meaning...lots of safe runs to chew up clock. Freeze has said this quite a few times this year.

PPG(points per game):
OM - 35.4 Opponent - 10.6 (24.8 PPG differential)
MSU - 41.8 Opponent - 20.0 (21.8 PPG differential)

No need to keep throwing the ball up to score when we are up 3 possessions.

First Downs:
OM - 160
MSU - 152

Looks like our offense doesn't have a problem moving the chains.

Total Offensive Yards Per Game:
OM - 433 Opponent - 290 (Difference of 143 yards)
MSU - 529 Opponent - 428 (Difference of 101 yards)

I know this requires football knowledge, but when your defense doesn't allow points, there is no reason to throw the ball.

And to be honest, I know you're trying to convince yourself our offense isn't very good. How many yards did we put up on y'all the past two years?

holy shite yall have beaten one team this year and most of the experts still think bama is better than OM. Miss. St. has a much better resume than OM.

Other than Bam,a what exactly has OM done? beaten an average BSU team...wow so impressive

Haha, yup, because Ole Miss hasn't been in the Top 5 since 2009, I'm new to this. I never watch any other games or keep up with the season, as a whole...wow, I pictured 90% of LSU fans right there.

Holy shite.....on that note...i'll venture back over to the tiger rant. You know how people say I stopped reading right there.......most are probably lying. I literally stopped reading right here....this is unbelievable to me, and it further enforces the absolute complete delusion by some of the ole miss fanbase. Carry on brother. Peace out.

Devil's Advocate here. What has MSU done? Beat a vastly overrated LSU team that deserved to be nowhere close to #8, nevertheless ranked. Beat an overrated A&M team at home. Beat an Auburn team at home in one of the ugliest games I have ever watched. Both teams tried many times to lose that game. You laugh at the Boise State game, but who did MSU beat OOC? I guess you missed the UAB game? That's not "best" material. Experts can think what they want, but we whipped Bama. That game isn't even close if the refs don't give them 7 free points.

If it wasn't for y'all's absurd ranking, OM would be #1.
