I don't care about Auburn claiming some weird championships. What I do care about is that ONE methodology be used in the judging process for all the schools. That's fair in my book. Personally, I'd go with AP, UPI, FWA, Rose Bowl up to a point, etc.
I don't claim 1941 myself, but I think the rest for Alabama are quite legitimate using the standards of the year in which they happened. All I want is even application of standards across the board, and if that is done, Alabama still comes out ahead by any count.
But that's just me.
