In all honesty, Arky has been peaking at that time with LSU slumping. Better team won.
That said, the forced rivalry is now becoming a real one. This year Arky drew a deep line I the sand. I'm excited as frick to watch this years game.

Shitty QB play is the difference, in my view. One-dimensional offenses are easy to scheme against. Also a lot of under-estimation of us on their part.

this a shite ton. I think LSU underestimates Arkansas a good bit especially in a year like last year when they started slow but got hot as the year went on. Top that with LSU having crappy QB play and the defense getting worn out because of it.
I think playing them late in the year also has a lot to do with it. Arkansas always seenms to have things figured out and is usually a pretty damn good team by the end of the year.

Ole Miss was just a nasty good team last year when they wanted to be. I think they had more motivational issues than even LSU. How else do you explain a loss to Memphis but a victory over Alabama. When Ole Miss got up for a game, they were really good.
